We are OOA Creative, a bold and growing multidisciplinary creative agency based in London, specialising in brand identity systems, visual production, and digital experiences. We work with visionaries in industries like luxury real estate, automotive, and high-end fragrance brands to build magnetic brands and experiences that spark emotion and influence culture. We are looking for a Social Media Intern with a strategist’s mindset who understands the ‘why’ behind content. You will play a critical role in developing and executing OOA Creative’s social presence while being exposed to client work, emerging trends, and digital storytelling frameworks.

It is a hands-off internship, meaning we trust you to experiment, take ownership and build strategic muscle. You will be mentored and supported, but also expected to contribute original ideas, iterate fast, and problem-solve.

The Role

As our Social Media Intern, you will play a hands-on role in shaping our online presence across various platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. You will assist in creating, scheduling, and analysing content that aligns with our brand tone: elevated, insightful, and aesthetically sharp.

You can tell compelling stories, amplify client projects, and contribute to shaping the agency’s growing digital community.  

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the creation of static, video, and motion content (Reels, Stories, carousels, etc.)
  • Develop and manage monthly social media content calendars across key platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest)
  • Research platform trends, competitor activity, and emerging creators in our industry niches
  • Propose and execute content strategies tailored to brand voice, platform behaviour, and audience psychology
  • Create or commission visual and written content 
  • Write clear, compelling captions and micro-copy with strong brand voice alignment
  • Monitor and track engagement analytics, distilling learnings into insights and next steps
  • Participate in brainstorms and apply branding principles to content ideas
  • Support internal campaigns, launches, and editorial storytelling moments
  • Propose experiments (new formats, platform tests, aesthetic shifts) and execute them

Who You Are

You are scrolling for fun and analysing what works. You love aesthetics, culture, and storytelling, but you also want to understand the architecture behind powerful brands.

Must Haves:

  • A strategic mindset: you ask “Why?” before “What should I post?”
  • Some experience managing a brand or personal page with intention (even if it’s yours)
  • Knowledge of key social platforms and their distinct cultures
  • Strong visual and verbal communication with concise, compelling writing
  • Comfortable with tools like Notion, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or Buffer
  • Proactive, self-directed, and capable of setting your weekly workflow

Nice-to-Haves:

  • An interest in creative, luxury and lifestyle industries
  • Some experience with analytics or performance review
  • A good design eye (or willingness to develop one)
  • Familiarity with using Figma, Premiere Pro, or TikTok editing tools
  • A working knowledge of audience psychology or content frameworks (e.g., funnel thinking, hooks, brand pillars)
