Before After Uduak had a special occasion, a full wardrobe, and a problem that most stylists would have missed entirely: the clothes weren’t wrong — they just weren’t hers. Each piece had been chosen in isolation, without ever being asked to work together as a statement about who she actually was. The result was a wardrobe that fit but didn’t make a statement. She walked into that room wearing something that could not have belonged to anyone else. Not because anything was new. Because every choice was now intentional — connected, considered, pointing in the same direction. The outfit stopped being an outfit and became a statement. She stopped getting dressed and started showing up.
